PAVILION AND RODEO ARENA IMPROVEMENTS
REQUEST FOR BIDS
Sealed bids for the Hendry County Fair and Livestock Show Pavilion and Rodeo Arena Improvements “project” will be received by the Hendry County Fair and Livestock Show, Inc. hereinafter referred to as “Owner” at the office of its Engineer, Rock Enterprises, Inc., 870 W. Hickpochee Avenue, Suite 100, LaBelle, Florida 33935, until 2:00 p.m. local time on August 26, 2020, for furnishing all labor and materials, and performing all work set forth in the Bid Documents. Immediately following the scheduled bid submission closing time, all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after the specified bid submission deadline will not be opened.
Bid Documents consisting of the project plans, scope of work and specifications, and addenda or other revisions, forms, instructions and conditions are available for examination and may be obtained from the Owner’s Engineer, Rock Enterprises, Inc., 870 W. Hickpochee Avenue, Suite 100, LaBelle, Florida 33935 (telephone: 863-612-0011; email: email@example.com
). You must register as a prospective Bidder with the Owner’s Engineer to be considered a responsive bidder eligible to receive addenda, if any. After registering as a prospective Bidder, an electronic copy of the Bid Documents will be forwarded to you by email. You may also purchase a paper copy of the Bid Documents for $25 from the Owner’s Engineer.
A Bid Bond or certified check in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid must accompany each Bid.
A pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m. on August 12, 2020, at the jobsite located at 710 South Francisco Street, Clewiston, Florida 33440. All potential bidders are strongly encouraged to attend.
Bidders must submit bids for this work on the bid form provided in the Bid Documents. Other bid or proposal forms will not be accepted.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to award the bid to the lowest responsible and qualified bidder as determined by the Owner. The Owner also reserves the right to award all or a portion of the line items or reduce quantities shown on the Schedule of Values as Owner determines, in its sole discretion, to be in its best interest.
